I couldn't wait to get out of the zoo today. Nothing but stupid, fertile people with examples of their work running about.

If you are a woman with a baby stroller, here's a news flash: you don't somehow become entitled to trample others simply because you have ready proof of your fertility. It's also okay to say "excuse me" and not act like the world owes you free and unhindered access to whatever you want.

The most intriguing thing? The chimpanzee parents were more disciplinary towards their offspring than their human counterparts. No big surprise there. Plus, I noted lots of cuddling and obvious displays of affection amongst the chimpanzee families. Nothing but screaming, sour looks and bad manners amongst the human families.

All in all... the zoo just made me cranky. I left realizing that all the wrong animals were caged.
